Shecky will be in San Diego performing at the OLD GLOBE THEATRE in the WORLD PREMIERE MUSICAL ROBIN AND THE SEVEN HOODS as “Willy Scarlatti.”
July 14-August 30th.
This original musical features Music by Jimmy Van Heusen and Lyrics by Sammy Cahn.
The Book is by Rupert Holmes and will be directed by Casey Nicholaw.

2009 Ended with a bang! Shecky starred in ON THE TOWN at the Papermill Playhouse in New Jersey. He played the role of “Ozzie” opposite Kelly Sullivan as “Claire.”
His brilliant sailing buddies were Tyler Hanes as “Gabey,” and Brian Shephard as “Chip.”
The amount of fun they had could be considered illegal. At least in 1950!
The production was directed by Bill Berry and choreographed by Patti Colombo. It also starred Jen Cody as “Hildy” (seen below) and Yvette Tucker as “Ivy Smith.”

Shecky’s short film “FLIRTING WITH COMMITMENT,” was accepted into the DOORPOST FILM PROJECT.
He wrote, directed, and stars in this short film about a man who must decide if he is more committed to his “craft” or his marriage.
